Tab title and unread dots
Section titled “Tab title and unread dots”While Felix’s tab is hidden, its title counts new agent messages plus agents waiting for you (“(2) Felix”), and the roster shows a dot on agents with unread messages. Reading the chat clears them.
Browser notifications
Section titled “Browser notifications”With Notifications on in the agent’s Details (on by default), Felix shows a browser notification:
- “Ada finished” when a task ends (not when you stopped it);
- “Ada needs you” when the agent posts an Action needed, approval or credential card.
They only appear while Felix’s tab is hidden, and their text is fixed (“Task finished.”, “Open Felix to continue.”): what the agent wrote never appears on your lock screen. Turning the setting on asks your browser for permission. Clicking a notification opens the agent.
The “needs you” email
Section titled “The “needs you” email”When an agent has been waiting for you for more than 2 minutes, its Notifications is on, and no Felix agents page is open in any of your tabs, Felix emails you once for that wait, with a link to the agent. The subject says why: “Ada needs you”, “Ada needs your approval” (the body names the action) or “Ada needs a credential”. For a routine’s unattended run, the email says by when you must answer.
Turn Notifications off in an agent’s Details to stop both the browser notifications and the email for that agent.
